Drugs are meant to cure illness or sickness until we abuse them. Tramadol is a medication used to help relieve moderate to moderately severe pain. It works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain.

Unfortunately, some people do no longer use it for this purpose. They take it just for mere pleasure and without any prescription from health practitioners. It is really heartbreaking to see market women, drivers and most especially the youth abusing this drug.

Abusers who continue to take tramadol long enough and at high doses will eventually develop a physical dependence on the drug and experience unpleasant or even dangerous symptoms of withdrawal if they stop taking the medication.

The abuse of tramadol can cause depression, diarrhea, agitation, numbness in the extremities, ringing in the ears, hallucination, paranoia, confusion, among others. All these can retard an individual’s future and development.

Ghanaian youth should try as much as possible to avoid abusing this drug. The youth form majority of the working force and so if they are eaten up by this drug, then the development of our nation is at risk as well.  The abuse of this drug will lead to poor health and untimely death.

Lets stop Tramadol abuse and focus on developing ourselves and our nation as a whole, because we are the future of our nation and we should not put our nation at risk because of this bad behavior.

SAY NO TO TRAMADOL ABUSE!
